The Role

We are seeking an experienced Senior Applications Specialist to join our Technology Team. This role is responsible for supporting business system users, associated technology, and providing guidance to other team members. Key responsibilities include resolving issues, incidents, and change requests within key business applications, as well as providing Subject Matter Expertise for end-users and staff.

Key Responsibilities

  • Resolve all technical and user-identified issues or defects with predefined solutions.
  • Diagnose and resolve technical and user-identified issues or defects with predefined solutions.
  • Perform analysis and provide advice on design and implementation activities relating to assigned applications.
  • Support the implementation of new Business Applications.
  • Install and Maintain Software & Hardware.
  • Prepare documentation to support the new business applications.
  • Some limited on-site support may be required in venue and/or at Merivale Stadiums.

Requirements

  • 4+ years of experience in technical support role.
  • An interest in business applications and how they can be best utilised.
  • Relevant tertiary qualifications an advantage.
  • Database knowledge including MS SQL desirable.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills.
  • Internal and external stakeholder management specialist.
  • Customer service focus, with experience in Hospitality or Retail industries.
