Environmental Sustainability Leader: A Vision for Queensland Health

This role is instrumental in shaping the future of environmental sustainability initiatives and programs across Queensland Health.

  • Develop and maintain strategies, policies, governance, data systems, standards, and frameworks to drive integrated approaches for environmental sustainability.
  • Lead data management and reporting, including analysis and interpretation of environmental and energy outputs for progress tracking and informing decision-making.
  • Research new and innovative best practices to inform the development of fit-for-purpose environmental sustainability practices and reporting.
  • Establish and maintain strategic partnerships with internal and external stakeholders to promote information sharing and collaboration.
Requirements
  • Proven experience in leading strategy development, governance, policies, systems, and standards, demonstrating system-wide benefits.
  • High-level ability in conducting research and strategic analysis to identify future investments and facilitate system-wide change.
  • Strong communication and stakeholder engagement skills.
