Leader of Cyber Defence

This is an influential senior cyber role that requires a highly experienced professional to shape and deliver high-impact security initiatives.
The ideal candidate will have worked at the CISO level or led cyber operations within major global organisations, with experience in regulated environments.
The role involves building and maintaining a robust cyber defence capability, driving awareness and engagement across the business, and securing investment for key initiatives.
Key Responsibilities:- Develop and execute a comprehensive information risk and security strategy.
- Oversee delivery of enterprise technology initiatives, ensuring alignment with quality standards.
- Manage and investigate security incidents, ensuring timely and effective resolution.
- BUILD STRONG RELATIONSHIPS WITH GLOBAL BUSINESS UNITS TO ENSURE EXPECTATIONS ARE MET.
- Provide consultancy on information security projects and coordinate risk requirements.
- Oversee the Security Operations Centre (SOC) to ensure efficient detection and response to cybersecurity threats.
- Implement data protection strategies to prevent unauthorized access or loss of sensitive information.
- Manage vendor relationships, ensuring SLAs are met.
