About the Role
  • Establish strong relationships with key stakeholders.
  • Design, develop and maintain cyber defence architecture.
  • Implement and improve defensive technologies to detect and respond to cyber security threats.
  • Lead incident response events as required.
Key Responsibilities
  • Stay up to date with emerging trends and best practice in cyber defence.
  • Collaborate with businesses to share knowledge and enhance cyber security posture.
  • Automate repetitive tasks and workflows using automation tools.
Requirements
  • Significant experience in a similar role, preferably within a SOC.
  • Strong understanding of network protocols, operating systems, cloud environment and security technologies.
  • Naturally inquisitive and analytical mind, with strong problem-solving skills.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Tertiary qualifications in Computer Science, Software Engineering, IT or Cyber Security.
  • Industry certifications such as CISSP.
