About this Role

  • We are seeking a skilled professional to play a key role in shaping our cyber security landscape.
Key Responsibilities:
  • To establish strong relationships with stakeholders and design an effective cyber defence architecture.
  • Develop and maintain defensive technologies to detect and respond to threats, and lead incident response events as required.
  • Conduct simulation exercises to test threat preparedness and capabilities, automate repetitive tasks using automation tools, and collaborate with businesses to enhance our cyber security posture.
  • Stay up-to-date with emerging trends and best practices related to cyber defence.
Requirements:
  • Significant experience in a similar role, preferably within a Security Operations Centre (SOC).
  • A strong understanding of network protocols, operating systems, cloud environments, and security technologies.
  • Knowledge of cybersecurity frameworks and compliance standards.
  • A naturally analytical mind and strong problem-solving skills.
  • Well-developed interpersonal and influencing skills.
  • A genuine interest and passion for learning and developing new skills.
  • Tertiary qualifications in Computer Science, Software Engineering, IT, or Cyber Security, or equivalent discipline.
Nice to Have:
  • Industry certifications such as Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP).
