Job Description:

We are seeking an experienced Front Office Manager to oversee all aspects of guest services, team coordination, and front office administration. This position requires a calm, confident, and organised approach to help keep the business running efficiently and professionally while maintaining a high standard of service to guests and owners.



Key Responsibilities:

Operational Tasks:

  • Managing daily banking and end-of-day reconciliation
  • Overseeing guest check-in and check-out procedures, providing support to the front office team
  • Coordinating bookings and managing third-party reservations from platforms like Booking.com, Expedia, and Hotelbeds
  • Maintaining and updating the property management system (RESLY), including owner and tenant details
  • Processing rent receipts, generating invoices, and tracking payments accurately
  • Preparing reports and documentation for mid and end-of-month processes
  • Managing staff rosters, leave records, and shift planning
  • Coordinating inventory and supply orders including stationery, luggage tags, and kiosk stock
  • Responding professionally to reviews, enquiries, and communication from OTAs and guests
  • Liaising with suppliers and contractors to support operational needs


Requirements:

Skills and Qualifications:

  • Proven experience in a front office leadership role within a busy hotel or resort environment
  • Strong financial and business acumen, with the ability to manage budgets, monitor revenue, and meet performance targets
  • A demonstrated ability to support and implement business strategy and drive operational improvements
  • A proactive, solutions-focused mindset and a calm, confident leadership style
  • A genuine passion for guest service, with the ability to champion brand standards and team culture
  • Confidence in managing third-party bookings and payment reconciliation
  • Relevant expertise in using PMS or reservation systems (familiarity with RESLY highly regarded)
  • Current First Aid, CPR, and RSA certifications (well regarded)
  • A full, unrestricted driver's licence
  • Full working rights in Australia
