Dynamic Outdoor Education Leader

Haileybury is seeking an experienced VCE Physical Education/Outdoor Education Teacher to join our Keysborough campus. This exciting opportunity allows a dedicated educator to inspire and support students in their learning journey within a dynamic and innovative environment.
The successful candidate will deliver the curriculum using Haileybury's Explicit Instruction model, ensuring best pedagogical practices while staying current with modern teaching methods and relevant frameworks. They will also prioritise building positive relationships within the school community and collaborate with colleagues to develop blended learning resources and assessments.
Main Duties:- Curriculum Delivery and Pedagogy: Deliver the curriculum using Haileybury's Explicit Instruction model.
- Collaboration and Relationships: Prioritise building positive relationships within the school community.
- Assessment and Professional Development: Use varied assessment tasks to accurately measure student achievement.
The ideal candidate will have demonstrated experience and passion for teaching in Mathematics, brilliant pedagogy and explicit instruction, effective use of technology, strong relationships, collaborative striving, curiosity and commitment to deep learning, and the ability to extend students' understanding through teacher expertise.
They will be able to implement evidence-based practices that actively engage students in their learning process, utilise technology as a tool to enhance teaching and learning experiences, foster a safe and respectful classroom environment, encourage collaboration amongst students and team members, demonstrate a passion for learning and inquiry-based thinking, and continuously develop their own expertise through the use of data and ongoing professional development.
