Resident Focused Care Specialist

Delivering high-quality, resident-centric care in a timely and compassionate manner is essential for empowering residents to make informed choices and maintain control over their support needs.
You will be responsible for:
- Developing and implementing comprehensive care plans,
- Conducting thorough clinical assessments,
- Monitoring medication management and ensuring accurate recording of information in accordance with organisational and legislative requirements,
- Leading the development and submission of AN-AAC applications,
- Responsible for managing comments and complaints in collaboration with the Home Manager.
- Demonstrated expertise in aged care legislation;
- Knowledge of the Australian National Aged Care Classification (ANACC) funding model;
- Registered Nurse with current registration with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA);
- Aged care experience as a Registered Nurse;
- Experience in managing quality clinical care in a highly regulated environment;
- Commitment to contemporary aged care nursing practice;
- Ability to lead and support a multi-disciplinary team;
- Strong clinical skills and ability to coach and mentor others;
- Effective communication and time management skills;
- Alignment with the philosophy of resident-focused care which supports dignity, independence, and informed decision-making;
