Whilst leading and guiding the team, you will welcome new and prospective residents and their families to the facility, you will also be responsible for; generating care plans, conducting clinical assessments, monitor medication management, lead AN-AAC submissions, whilst ensuring that information is accurately recorded in accordance with all organisational and legislative requirements (AN-AAC), resident records and staff time recording, responsible for management and monitoring the handling of comments and complaints in collaboration with the Home Manager in a timely and resolution focused manner.
Your main duties will include: Demonstrated comprehensive knowledge and understanding of the legislation governing Aged Care; Knowledge of the Australian National Aged Care Classification (ANACC) funding model; About you Registered Nurse with current Registration with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA); Demonstrated Aged Care experience as a Registered Nurse; Experience in managing the provision of quality clinical care in a highly regulated environment; A commitment to work within and promote Calvary's Mission, Vision and Values; Commitment to contemporary aged care nursing practice; Ability to support and lead the multi-disciplinary team; Strong clinical skills and the ability and desire to coach and mentor others, including clinical staff; Ability to prioritise multiple conflicting tasks and competing deadlines within a fast-paced environment; Effective verbal and written communication skills; Demonstrated alignment with the philosophy of resident focused care which supports dignity, independence and informed consultative decision making; For further information please contact Nat O'Neill- Home Manager at Nat.O'************************ Why work for Calvary?
