About the Role

We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Homecare Support Worker to join our team at VMCH. As a Homecare Support Worker, you will play a vital role in providing support to older members of our community to live independent and fulfilling lives from the comfort of their own homes.

You will work closely with our at-home care team to have an in-depth knowledge of clients' individual needs, which may include:

  • Transportation
  • Use of mobility aids and personal equipment
  • Assisting clients with activities of daily living
  • Light housekeeping, meal preparation, and grocery shopping

To be successful in this role, you will have a passion for caring for the older members of our community and their families, whilst making a difference to someone's everyday life. You will also have clear communication skills to support client engagement and a desire to assist clients in reaching their independence goals.
