Job Title: APS5 Internal Review Officer

Description:

This position involves undertaking moderately complex to complex work. The role is guided by legislation, policies, procedures, standards, methodologies and precedents.

The successful candidate will be part of a team and may be required to perform work that involves team leadership responsibilities requiring the setting of priorities and allocating work to other team members.

Key Responsibilities include:

  • Collaborating with participants to gather information regarding review requests.
  • Making decisions based on evidence as prescribed in policies.
  • Managing caseloads to ensure timely completion of internal reviews.
  • Contributing to quality improvement activities to enhance service delivery practice, processes and systems.
  • Utilizing critical thinking skills, strong communication and attention to detail.
  • Developing relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
  • Applicants should have an understanding of or lived experience in the field of disability.
