
Aboriginal Health Program Developer – Cancer Care Specialist

The Aboriginal Cancer Care Project Officer will play a key role in designing and delivering a culturally responsive Model of Care toolkit to support Aboriginal patients and families.
Main Responsibilities:- Collaborate with the Cancer Care Coordinator to develop a comprehensive Model of Care toolkit.
- Contribute to project planning, coordination, and reporting to drive service development and improvement.
- Foster partnerships with internal teams, health providers, and Aboriginal communities to identify gaps and co-design solutions.
- Develop strategies to strengthen integration of culturally safe cancer care services.
- Evaluate and improve cancer care pathways for Aboriginal patients and families.
- A strong cultural connection to the local community.
- Knowledge of Aboriginal health services and the challenges faced by Aboriginal people when accessing care.
- Excellent communication, relationship-building, and advocacy skills.
- Demonstrated experience in supporting project coordination, health program planning, or service development.
- Relevant qualifications or equivalent experience in health, social science, or community service.
