We are seeking a skilled Maintenance Technician to join our team at IIQAF. As a key member of our facilities team, you will be responsible for ensuring the good condition and functionality of our premises.

A successful candidate will have a practical mind, attention to detail, and the ability to work autonomously and responsibly while observing all health and safety guidelines.

The goal is to maintain our buildings and common areas in the best possible condition.

Responsibilities
  • Conduct regular surveys of our buildings to identify and repair any mechanical systems that are not consistent with health and safety standards
  • Perform routine maintenance of our electrical systems, including replacing light bulbs and sockets, cleaning and repairing circuit breaker panels, and other tasks as assigned
  • Assist in the setup and repair of ventilation, refrigeration, and other systems
  • Maintain our heating and plumbing systems to ensure they are functioning properly
  • Inspect our alarm systems, including fire and protection systems, and schedule repairs when necessary
  • Perform manual repairs, such as fixing locks and replacing windows
  • Conduct pest control activities, including spraying insecticide
  • Perform general upkeep procedures, such as landscaping, and other tasks as assigned
  • Assist in budget preparation and ensure it is followed
Requirements
  • Proven experience as a Maintenance Technician
  • Basic understanding of electrical, hydraulic, and other systems
  • Knowledge of general maintenance processes and methods
  • Working knowledge of tools, common appliances, and devices
  • Manual dexterity and problem-solving skills
  • Good physical condition and strength with a willingness to work overtime
  • High school diploma or equivalent; Certificate in HVAC, building maintenance technology, or relevant field will be a plus
  • Certified Maintenance and Reliability Professional (CMRP) is desired
