Job Description:

This role involves supporting a customer for community participation shifts in Andrews Farm, SA. The successful applicant will work closely with the customer and their family to deliver individualised and flexible support.

The ideal candidate will have experience working in a Supported Independent Living (SIL) environment and possess the necessary skills and qualifications to provide high-quality support.

The salary package for this role includes $60,000 per year, plus benefits such as salary packaging and a supportive work environment.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • Experience working in a SIL environment
  • Certificate III in Individual Support or equivalent experience
  • Current South Australian Working with Children Check (Working)
  • Current NDIS Workers Screening Check (Working)
  • First Aid certificate (completed in the last 3 years)
  • CPR certificate (completed in the last 12 months)
  • Manual Handling certificate (practical and theory) completed in the last 12 months
  • Driver's licence
  • NDIS Workers Orientation Module
  • NDIS Supporting Safe Meals Training Module
  • NDIS Supporting Effective Communication Module

You will also need to demonstrate a passion for providing high-quality support and a willingness to work collaboratively as part of a team.
