About the Role

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Event Logistics Coordinator to join our team at The Star Entertainment Group. As an Event Logistics Coordinator, you will play a critical role in ensuring the smooth execution of events at our venue.

Key Responsibilities
  • Set up and pack down tables, bars, drink stations, buffets, stages, and other event-related equipment to ensure a seamless event experience.
  • Coordinate the movement of equipment and supplies to and from the event spaces, including inbound and outbound freight and deliveries.
  • Operate specialized equipment, such as forklifts, pallet jacks, and walkie stackers, to transport large-scale items from the loading dock to the event spaces.
  • Maintain the warehouse and storage rooms, as well as back-of-house areas, to ensure a safe and efficient working environment.
  • Collaborate with other team members to troubleshoot any issues that may arise and provide problem-solving support.
Requirements
  • Previous experience in events, banquet, or warehouse service is highly desirable.
  • Understanding of safe work practices and ability to follow procedures and processes.
  • Current forklift license and experience with pallet jacks (advantageous but not required).
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Accreditation in Responsible Service of Alcohol.
