About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Event Captain to join our team at The Star Brisbane. As an Event Captain, you will be responsible for supervising and guiding the events team, ensuring seamless event logistics and delivery.

Key Responsibilities
  • Supervise and train logistics staff to ensure high-quality event delivery
  • Proactively manage event floor service flow and maintain performance standards
  • Collaborate with the logistics team to ensure compliance with QLD Government and WHS requirements
  • Provide suggestions to improve outlet productivity and efficiency
  • Monitor team members' work during shifts and provide feedback
Requirements
  • Strong knowledge and experience in high-volume event centers or warehouses
  • Proven time-management skills and ability to thrive in high-pressure environments
  • Excellent communication and problem-solving skills
  • Forklift license and Responsible Service of Alcohol accreditation
