About the Role

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Marketing and Events Assistant to join our Marketing team at Cooper Grace Ward Lawyers. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for coordinating and executing our external and internal events portfolio, including client seminars, webinars, networking events, and team functions.

Key Responsibilities
  • Coordinate all events, including planning, execution, and logistics
  • Work closely with the Director of Marketing and Business Development to plan and implement events
  • Liaise with venue managers and suppliers regarding booking and logistics
  • Draft and send invitations in email marketing software
  • Coordinate invitations and mailing lists in our customer relationship management system
  • Upload events to our website and other digital channels
  • Monitor events inbox for RSVPs and event participant queries
  • Work with our internal catering team to ensure high-quality food and presentation at events
  • Set up webinars and liaise with our IT team to ensure A/V equipment and facilities meet our event requirements
  • Gain continuous client feedback on events
  • Ensure follow-up with clients after events, with support from other members of the Marketing team
  • Liaise with and organize external contacts who use our venues
  • Utilize our marketing technology stack, including Adobe Creative Suite and HubSpot
  • Work with other members of the Marketing team to implement communications and digital strategies for events
  • Provide support on marketing tasks, including website updates, graphic design, and other tasks
Requirements
  • A marketing, communications, or events degree or similar qualifications
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Superior organizational and time management skills
  • Exceptional attention to detail, particularly in written communication
  • A positive attitude and a collaborative, team-centric approach
