Personal Assistant To The Chief Marketing Officer

This position works closely with the Chief Marketing Officer to ensure the smooth functioning of all their daily activities and to ensure a customer-focused, responsive and professional service is provided at all times.

**Duties include -**
- Diarize & management of all internal and external appointments for the Chief Marketing Officer and communicate on behalf of the Chief Marketing Officer when absent or is unavailable.
- Be contactable and available for the Chief Marketing Officer.
- Provide a full range of administrative support services including filing and records management; mail; photocopying; report writing and minute taking.
- Assist with marketing team rosters and leave tracking.
- Assist with collating timesheets for the marketing department ensuring the information is accurate and signed off by the Chief Marketing Officer before forwarding on to the payroll department.
- Collect and disseminate information in a timely and accurate manner on behalf of the Chief Marketing Officer ensuring the highest levels of confidentiality and probity.
- Assist the Chief Marketing Officer in managing and coordinating all sponsorship and tourism industry tours at Australia Zoo.
- Assist the Chief Marketing Officer with planning and overseeing tasks associated with key monthly and annual events such as Steve Irwin Gala Dinner, promotional events etc.
- Assist with social media monitoring as per guidelines provided by PR.
- Assist the Wedding and Events Executive during wedding, Zoo and special events.
- Evaluate and continually update current administrative and resourcing systems as necessary.
- Assist with invoices and raising purchase orders for the marketing department.
- Assist with adoption's when required.
- Assist with sales and marketing support when required.
- Other duties as directed by the Chief Marketing Officer and Australia Zoo management.

**Essential Criteria -**
- Current First Aid qualification
- Hold current Driver's Licence
- Available to work weekends, public holidays, and school holiday periods
- Computer Literacy
- Professional Discretion
- Knowledge of industry and sector
- Ability to deal with people whilst withholding maturity

**Preferred Criteria -**
- Relevant Certificates/Qualifications relevant to the role
- Experience in a similar role
- Any relevant WHS experience
- Manual drivers licence
- Proof of coronavirus vaccination (unless otherwise exempt)
