Job Opportunity:

We are seeking a highly experienced Senior Mechanical Infrastructure Expert to join our team in Adelaide.

About the Role:

The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing the delivery of infrastructure projects, ensuring that they meet technical, cost, and schedule goals.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and implement Mechanical engineering design, construction, and operational standards.
  • Collaborate with Chief Engineer to ensure design certification reviews are completed efficiently.
  • Maintain up-to-date technical specifications, procedures, and guidelines.
  • Review and approve Mechanical engineering drawings, calculations, and models.
  • Monitor project designs and construction to verify compliance with established standards.
  • Conduct regular design and engineering reviews to assess adherence to best practices.
  • Provide technical support for resolving non-conformance issues.
  • Act as the go-to expert for complex engineering challenges within the discipline.
  • Offer technical guidance during design, construction, and commissioning.
  • Support decision-making processes by providing expertise on Mechanical engineering methodologies.
  • Stay updated on emerging technologies and industry trends to drive innovation.
  • Collaborate with project managers, designers, and contractors to ensure the project's technical integrity.
  • Assist in risk assessments and mitigation strategies related to engineering aspects.
  • Participate in technical evaluations of vendors, materials, and equipment.
About You:

To be successful in this role, you will need to demonstrate significant experience in Mechanical engineering, preferably in building infrastructure, mechanical services including craneage. You will also require a Bachelor's degree in a relevant Mechanical engineering discipline and eligibility for accreditation as a Chartered Engineer with Engineers Australia.
