Sustainability Professional

We are seeking a Sustainability Operations Professional to play a key role in driving the success of our Group sustainability strategy. The successful candidate will be responsible for engaging and aligning key stakeholders, tracking and monitoring performance, and developing robust management reporting.
This role will involve driving sustainable outcomes aligned to business strategy through innovation and collaboration. The ideal candidate will have a passion for making a difference and a comprehensive understanding of relevant social, regulatory, and legislative compliance expectations.
Key Responsibilities:- Coordinate the sustainability strategy and operational cadence across the organization.
- Drive and coordinate divisional action plans, sustainability subcommittee activities, executive updates, and key projects aligned with the sustainability strategy.
- Establish reporting and monitoring on key sustainability initiatives and action plans.
- Contribute to the development of the sustainability strategy and provide board and executive updates.
- Manage and act as secretary for the sustainability subcommittee, including agenda management, paper review, minute-taking, and action tracking.
- Collaborate with the Sustainability Analytics team to interpret reports, generate insights, identify systemic issues, and drive actions across the business to improve social outcomes and identify business opportunities.
- Tertiary qualifications in business, social sciences, or a similar field, or significant relevant experience.
- Experience in leading organizational change and transformation, project management within a complex and heavily regulated medium to large organization.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills, capable of effectively communicating with audiences at all levels.
