About the Role

Melba Support Services is seeking a dedicated and compassionate Disability Support Worker to join our team in the Horsham/Nhill region. As a Disability Support Worker, you will play a vital role in supporting individuals with disabilities to lead everyday lives of their choice.

Key Responsibilities
  • Implement Support Plans: Develop and implement personalized support plans that cater to the unique needs, preferences, and interests of our clients.
  • Assist with Daily Living: Provide support with all aspects of daily living, including personal care, hygiene, and household duties.
  • Aid with Transportation: Assist clients in getting to their chosen activities, such as social events, work, and appointments.
  • Promote Personal Choice and Control: Empower clients to make informed decisions and take control of their lives.
  • Administer Medication: Safely administer medication to clients as required.
