The Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Department Manager to join our team. As a Department Manager, you will be responsible for driving sales and KPIs, coaching and developing your team, and upholding company retail standards.

Key Responsibilities

  • Drive conversion, sales, and KPI performance
  • Demonstrate exceptional customer service standards and supervise team to deliver a 'service over task' environment
  • Work with the back-of-house team to deliver shop floor product availability
  • Uphold company retail standards and deliver store visual excellence
  • Support the management team to deliver all internal and external profit protection processes
  • Support with new team member inductions and ongoing training to build bench strength for future store expansion
  • Encourage team members to improve performance through effective coaching

Requirements

  • 2-3 years leadership experience within retail or a similar industry
  • You are passionate about creating an amazing service experience and culture for our customers
  • You have a proven track record in driving and exceeding set KPIs and communicating well with all stakeholders
  • You have excellent time management skills to ensure that daily priorities are executed in a timely manner
  • You thrive in a fast-paced, ever-changing environment
  • You openly share knowledge with the wider team to achieve common goals
  • You have an ability to enthusiastically look at a challenge as an opportunity to develop yourself, your career, and learn new skills
  • You have strong interpersonal and communication skills and thrive in social situations through engagement with customers
