The Executive Director, Default Market Offer and Consumers will spearhead the delivery of the Default Market Offer (DMO) and support energy consumers in a high-performing culture.

Key Responsibilities
  • Overseeing the integration of teams to deliver the DMO annually and advance policy initiatives for consumers.
  • Providing strategic advice to the Board and Senior Executive Team on retail pricing, policy, and regulation.
  • Representing the AER and DMO Branch to stakeholders and influencing towards set objectives.
  • Producing high-quality documentation, reporting, and communication with senior leaders on projects and activities.
About You
  • Proven experience leading a team in a complex organization.
  • Substantial knowledge of policy change, stakeholder engagement, and data interpretation/management.
  • Expert knowledge of Australian energy markets and the AER's role and environment.
  • Tertiary qualifications in a relevant field or equivalent experience.
