About the Role

The Indigenous Senior Project Officer will play a critical role in supporting the operations of the DVC Research Portfolio, utilizing their senior-level, specialist knowledge to oversee and deliver high-quality project management services.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage and coordinate projects aligned with the strategic goals of the Indigenous Research Action Plan
  • Develop and maintain strong partnerships with internal and external stakeholders
  • Undertake complex analysis to ensure a compliant and safe research environment
  • Coordinate and facilitate community-based Indigenous staff members and liaison with research teams
Requirements

The successful candidate will have a strong understanding of Indigenous perspectives, knowledge, and ways of being, and will be able to creatively and successfully practice these in the delivery of high-level and professional research services.

They will also be connected to and culturally supported by the William Cooper Institute.
