An exciting opportunity exists for an experienced Registered Nurse to take on the role of Infection Control Coordinator.
About The RoleThe successful applicant is responsible for maintaining infection prevention and control programs to ensure a safe and quality working environment.
Key Qualifications- Current AHPRA registration as Registered Nurse
- Previous experience within Infection Control or a desire to develop Infection Control skills
- High level critical thinking and problem-solving skills
- Ability to work as a team member and independently when required
- Excellent computer skills using MS Office suite of programs
- Able to work as a motivated, enthusiastic and positive role model for all clinical and non-clinical disciplines
- Maintain infection prevention and control programs
- Support staff development in Infection Control roles
- Obtain Hand Hygiene Auditor Certificate
- National Police check conducted within the previous 12 months
- Working-With-Children check and proof of immunisation against infectious diseases may be required
