Maintain a high level of infection prevention and control across our hospital environment as an Infection Control Professional. This is an excellent opportunity to utilize your skills in a dynamic and supportive clinical setting.

About The Role

This position is responsible for the development, implementation and maintenance of infection prevention and control programs within our facility. Reporting directly to the Assistant Director of Clinical Services, you will act as a resource for all departments related to infection control, ensuring compliance with relevant policies and guidelines.

About You
  • A current registration with AHPRA as a Registered Nurse
  • Prior experience in Infection Control or a desire to enhance your skills in this area
  • A high level of critical thinking and problem-solving skills
  • The ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Excellent computer skills using MS Office
  • Positive role modeling for both clinical and non-clinical disciplines
  • Strong time management and work ethic skills
  • Supporting the growth and development of staff in Infection Control roles
  • Ongoing education and training opportunities

Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:
