Job Title:

Home Maintenance Support Officer

This role offers the opportunity to make a meaningful contribution to the delivery of essential services in our community. We are seeking an experienced and skilled individual to join our team as a Home Maintenance Support Officer.

The successful candidate will play a key role in supporting the coordination and delivery of home maintenance and minor modifications services. They will work closely with the Service Support Officer to:

  • Assist in managing referrals and bookings for basic home maintenance and minor modifications.
  • Maintain accurate client records and prepare reports, correspondence, and meeting documentation.
  • Coordinate staff rosters to ensure continuity of service delivery.
  • Monitor equipment, report defects, and schedule repairs.
  • Support data entry and administrative processes for the Home Maintenance program.
  • Contribute to safety and quality initiatives, including child safeguarding practices and WHS compliance.

To be successful in this role, you will need:

Key Skills and Qualifications:

  • Strong organisational, written, and verbal communication skills.
  • Proven experience in providing administrative support within a service delivery environment.
  • Proficiency in office systems, including Microsoft Office Suite, iPM, and Finance 1.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to work effectively with staff and clients.
  • The ability to manage competing priorities in a dynamic and changing environment.
  • Sound judgment, initiative, and discretion in a team setting.
