About the Job

The Enterprise Architect leads the architecture domain space for capabilities and technologies that enable Bupa to deliver health and care experiences to customers.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop enterprise-wide domain capability and technology target states, consulting with colleagues and stakeholders across the enterprise.
  • Align architectural design with customer and business lenses, using insights and consultation with colleagues and experts.
  • Develop high-quality architectural artefacts that meet diverse audience needs, using standard tools and formats.
  • Implement architectural principles for standard patterns and reusable designs, adhering to mandatory and 'by design' principles.
  • Ensure traceability, auditability, and transparency of high-quality architectural decisions, improving governance mechanisms as needed.
  • Partner with Product, Solution, Engineering, and Delivery practices to ensure domain enterprise architecture meets their needs.
  • Provide architecture consulting services, including technology scanning, investment idea qualification, and pre-sales support activities.
Required Skills and Qualifications

To succeed in this role, you will need at least 10+ years of experience as an architecture practitioner, preferably across enterprise, solution, and engineering spans.

  1. Direct experience working with Health technology and systems, either in hospital/clinical/residential care or digital healthcare environments.
  2. Experience as an Enterprise Architect in large corporate environments or top-tier consulting practices.
  3. Professional qualifications, including certifications in architecture practice, analysis, and design.
  4. Mastery in matrix structures, demonstrated ability to broker outcomes collaboratively with colleagues and peers.
  5. Familiarity with architecture design, modelling, and documentation toolsets.
  6. Prior experience working with Service Now platforms for standardised capability models.
