
Gas Infrastructure Asset Specialist

We are seeking a skilled Mechanical Engineer to join our team. As a key member of our Projects and Construction team, you will play a critical role in the design, construction, and ongoing maintenance of our gas infrastructure assets.
Your primary responsibilities will include:
- Developing and guiding high-quality preliminary engineering designs following the opportunity and FEED phases;
- Fitting out technical solutions that progress projects through detailed design, procurement, and construction;
- Conducting asset performance and integrity assessments;
- Providing operational support across engineering functions;
- Conducting engineering investigations and transparent reporting.
You will work closely with internal stakeholders, project managers, field teams, and contractors to deliver fit-for-purpose solutions safely and on schedule. Additionally, you will contribute to HAZOPs, constructability reviews, risk assessments, and lessons learned sessions.
About YouTo be successful in this role, you will need to possess:
- A Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering;
- Registration as a Certified or Registered Professional Engineer (preferred);
- Demonstrated experience delivering engineering solutions in construction, commissioning, or operations environments;
- Familiarity with Australian gas infrastructure and relevant standards;
- Strong problem-solving skills with a balance of technical rigour and practical application.
