Job Title: High Pressure Gas Asset Operator

We are seeking a skilled and experienced High Pressure Gas Asset Operator to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for the operation and maintenance of gas facilities and pipelines based out of our Cardiff depot.

The key responsibilities of this role include:

  • Completing planned and corrective maintenance activities on high pressure gas assets.
  • Operating and maintaining high-pressure Natural gas and Renewable Energy facilities, including Hydrogen and Bio-methane.
  • Hot Tapping of Transmission and Distribution pipelines.
  • Liaison work with landholders and public authorities.
  • A wide variety of pipeline duties, including mechanical work, documentation, and records maintenance.
  • Maintaining a Safe Worksite complying with all OHS&E requirements.
  • Responding to Gas related incidents and emergencies.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

To succeed in this role, you will need:

  • High pressure gas and gas processing experience.
  • Reciprocating/Screw Compressor operation and maintenance skills.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Proficient computer skills, including MS Office.
  • A can-do attitude and safety focus.
  • The following qualifications: Certificate III Mechanical Fitter, valid Driver's licence (MR), High Risk Work licence (Forklift, EWP or Dogging), and Confined Space certificate.
