The Role

The Demand Planner will play a central role in supporting the Demand Planning process for Krispy Kreme. This role will be responsible for the development and improvement of processes, tools, reports, and provide data analytics to support Krispy Kreme's supply chain and manufacturing strategic initiatives for our omni-channel business.

In this sweet role, you will:
  1. Develop and maintain accurate demand forecasts using historical data, market trends, and other relevant factors.
  2. Communicate clearly and timely with stakeholders.
  3. Utilize market insights, historical sales trends, consumption trends, and channel-specific promotional activities to develop and refine demand forecasts based on market conditions.
  4. Ensure the demand planning system (Reflex) and other relevant tools are up-to-date and accurately reflect the current agreed demand plan across all horizons, ensuring that current and accurate information is used for demand forecasts.
  5. Collaborate with multifunctional teams (Sales, Supply Chain, Manufacturing, etc.) to accommodate any demand-related requests.
  6. Coordinate demand planning matters to support projects that drive growth objectives, cost reductions, operational efficiency improvements, and reduce business waste.
  7. Build reports and business reporting tools using Power Query and Power BI.

Skills & Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in business or related field (Supply Chain or Finance) or equivalent training and experience required.
  • 2-3 years' experience working in a combination of demand planning and sales operation is required.
  • Experience in data analysis and transformation using Excel and Power BI.
  • Solid knowledge of demand planning fundamentals.
  • Understanding of P&L with an ability to derive messaging based on data.
