About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and organized Conference and Events Coordinator to join our team. As a key member of our sales and events team, you will be responsible for the sales and organization of corporate events, weddings, and social functions.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Proactively follow up on quotes and enquiries to develop business
  • Build strong relationships with customers and seek post-event feedback
  • Ensure the complete administration and execution of planned events
  • Forge open communication with banquet operations and the kitchen to provide accurate information for a smooth handover of functions
  • Take the lead on managing administration tasks to ensure the team is up to date with all critical due dates

Requirements:
  • Industry experience with a real passion for Conferencing & Events
  • Attitude is everything – We are looking for someone who aligns with the EVT brand and will quickly build rapport with our clients and convert business
  • Opera and Ivvy experience will be desirable but not essential
  • Exceptional time management skills
  • Strong attention to detail
  • The ability to multi-task and work closely with other hotel departments
