Job Title: Program Officer Contract And Engagement, Families, Seniors, Disability Services And Child Safety

">Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Program Officer to manage human and social service contracts. The successful candidate will be responsible for the end-to-end administration of contracts in line with established guidelines, policies, procedures, and frameworks.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Contract management and administration
  • Support contract owners to ensure eligibility of expenditure as per funding guidelines and ensure contract compliance and adequate reporting
  • Develop and maintain robust records and trackers in relation to contract delivery outcomes, responding to external audit queries where required
  • Build strong partnerships with funded organisations and support them with their contract administration and accountability
Requirements:

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • Previous contract management experience, preferably human and social service contracts in the public sector
  • Financial acumen and demonstrated communication (verbal and written) and negotiation skills
  • High level of stakeholder engagement skills to manage ongoing relationships with funded organisations
  • Critical analysis and problem-solving skills with the ability to escalate contract non-compliance and inadequate reporting
