**Our Client**
Synaco Global Recruitment have partnered with The Salvation Army to support vulnerable community members in need of hope and assistance.
**The Opportunity**
An Alcohol and Other Drug Case Worker will conduct assessments, develop service plans, and provide general support for participating individuals.
This is an ongoing casual position, working 26 hours a week, with hours between Monday to Friday negotiable, and a competitive hourly rate of $49.10.
**Key Competencies**
- Previous experience working with clients with AOD issues or a Cert 4 in Community Services is highly regarded.
- Applicants should have knowledge of contemporary evidence-based AOD support strategies, case management, intake, and assessment.
- Strong communication and community engagement skills are essential.
- A valid Australian driver's license and clear police check are required, as well as the ability to obtain an Ochre Card and be Covid 19 vaccinated.
- Indigenous community connection and engagement experience is highly valued.
