Job Title: Senior Lawyer - Residential Property Development

This is an exciting opportunity to join our team as a senior lawyer specializing in residential property development. As a key member of our investment team, you will be responsible for providing expert legal advice and support across the entire lifecycle of our investments.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide high-quality legal advice on complex property development transactions, including land acquisition, due diligence, and contract negotiations.
  • Assist in structuring joint venture arrangements, preparing term sheets, conducting legal due diligence, and negotiating service agreements.
  • Support portfolio management through reviewing material contracts, overseeing disputes, and providing timely commercial legal advice.
  • Manage external legal counsel, ensure compliance with relevant laws and internal policies, and engage with directors and investment committees.


Requirements:

Requirements:
  • At least 5 years PQE experience working as a property development lawyer and/or corporate transactional lawyer with property law expertise.
  • Experience working on large-scale corporate transactions and negotiating joint venture agreements associated with property development.
  • Strong project management skills, including workstream prioritization, and stakeholder management skills to manage internal and external relationships.
  • Current Practicing Certification and tertiary qualifications to practice law in an Australian jurisdiction.
