Job Opportunity: Demand Planner

We are seeking an experienced Demand Planner to join our team. This is a critical role responsible for the management and execution of the planning regime for selected categories through our Supply Chain to meet the service expectations of the growing store network.

The successful candidate will be responsible for leading in-store product availability, optimising inventory, providing causal analysis to enhance decision making, and supporting the resolution of demand and supply issues across our network.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Manage the development and implementation of consensus demand plans, inventory and replenishment plans with consideration of the impacts to the category ambitions.
  • Utilise advanced planning systems to manage the demand and supply of ranges.
  • Collate and distribute forecasts, generate and input to information decks for relevant meetings within the S&OP process.
  • Build strong relationships with stakeholders and demonstrate positivity, enthusiasm, and effectively act with urgency.
Requirements:
  • Experience in demand and/or supply planning, preferably within a retail environment and high performing ranges or portfolios.
  • Good business acumen and an understanding of the inter-relationships between each function.
  • Proven ability to manage, monitor, and resolve supply chain risk with internal and external stakeholders.
  • Demonstrated proficiency with data analytics, statistics, and forecasting.
