Contract Management Specialist
Job Description:
The role involves playing a pivotal part in the formation, management and governance of contracts annually.
This position sits within the Defence Force School of Languages (DFSL) Headquarters, reporting directly to the Executive Officer. The role provides support and guidance to the executive staff of DFSL in procurement and contract management.
Key Responsibilities:
- Leading a small team responsible for financial and contract management of DFSL
- Creating, managing and overseeing all contract management key functions
- Liaising with suppliers and DFSL executives on issues management
- Responding to contract-related enquiries
- Proactively managing contracting schedules
- Auditing, reviewing and implementing continual improvement activities to contract and finance processes
Additional Requirements:
Providing contract assistance to our sister school, the Defence International Training Centre (DITC), as needed. Briefing executives and preparing contract and finance reports as requested.
Requirements:
Strong communication skills, attention to detail, ability to manage competing priorities, organizational skills and Microsoft Office products expertise.
