
Restaurant Team Leader

We are seeking a talented and motivated Assistant Restaurant Manager to join our team.
As an Assistant Restaurant Manager, you will play a key role in leading our team to deliver exceptional customer experiences, maintaining high standards of food quality, and driving business growth.
- Lead the restaurant team in efficient day-to-day operations
- Be a role model for the standards and behaviours consistent with our values and culture
- Ensure great-tasting, high-quality food is served and exceptional customer service is maintained at all times
- Listen to customer feedback and consistently work to ensure positive customer experiences
This diverse role involves a variety of responsibilities including but not limited to:
- Managing staff including rostering, shift changes and team meetings
- Resolving any employee issues including grievances, disciplinary action
- Ordering of stock from various suppliers
- Inventory management including weekly stocktakes & reviewing portion control
- Office administration duties such as paperwork, banking, cash handling, payroll and reviewing policies
- Compiling, preparing and maintaining profit and loss statements, budgets and cost controls with regard to cost of goods and labour

Key Selection Criteria:
- Previous quick-service restaurant management experience
- Passionate about our humanitarian values and ready to make a difference

- Ability to speak clearly and listen attentively to both customers and colleagues

- Ability to multi-task and adapt to changing customer levels as required
- Knowledge and experience of cash handling policies and procedures
- Ability to accurately execute office administration tasks and duties
- Food Safety Certified or willing to undertake a Food Safety Supervisor's course paid by us
- Proven reliability
- Flexible towards hours of work (a mix of day/night, weekday/weekend shifts will be required)
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Strong attention to detail
- Completes tasks/projects completely, leaving nothing outstanding
- Highly organised & is a fast learner
- Intrinsically is a neat, clean and tidy person
- Ability to solve problems in a logical way
- Strong computer and technology skills
- Ability to follow systems strictly and ensure team members are also following systems
- Understands the impact of excellent preparation on store operations and staff morale
