Medical Expert in Rehabilitation Medicine

Join our organization as a skilled medical expert to provide thorough and objective assessments of veterans. Your role will be focused on independent medical evaluations, without any treatment responsibilities.

Job Summary:
  • Review and analyze comprehensive medical records through secure portals.
  • Conduct in-depth evaluations to document current health conditions for veterans.
  • Complete detailed Disability Benefits Questionnaires (DBQs) based on VA-provided templates.
  • Submit DBQs accurately and promptly within 24 hours of the assessment.
  • Assess up to four veterans daily with efficiency.
Schedule and Work Environment:

The ideal candidate will have flexibility to work 2 days per week in person and be open to additional telehealth opportunities.

Requirements:
  • Active license to practice medicine with a specialization in Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation (PM&R).
  • Board certification in Neurological Surgery, PM&R, or Psychiatry and Neurology is preferred.
  • Excellent typing skills and attention to detail are essential.
