Our organisation seeks an Occupational Rehabilitation Specialist to join our multidisciplinary team. We deliver comprehensive rehabilitation services, enabling individuals to return to work and life with optimal health and function.We support the journey from rehab to healing, taking a holistic care approach that prioritises the unique needs of each client. This includes performing assessments such as functional capacity evaluations, worksite and ergonomic assessments, and activities of daily living assessments.As an Occupational Rehabilitation Specialist, you will collaborate with stakeholders including employees who have suffered injury, illness or trauma, medical specialists and other treatment providers. You will work across portfolios, supporting Veterans and current Defence Force members based at HMAS Stirling.To be successful in this role, you must possess:
  • Current unrestricted registration with AHPRA, ESSA, ASORC or AASW
  • Tertiary qualifications in Occupational Therapy, Physiotherapy, Exercise Physiology, Osteopathy, Rehabilitation Counselling, Nursing, Psychology or Social Work
  • Clinical reasoning
  • Ability to engage across multidisciplinary teams to support a common goal
  • Passion to help people rehabilitate
  • 12 months registered work experience in your tertiary qualified health profession
  • Occupational Rehabilitation experience highly regarded
