Job Title

A remediation analyst role with a focus on customer data and financial crime compliance.

The purpose of this role is to strengthen the Group's financial crime capability by remediating critical KYC data and providing support to other teams and stakeholders.

This position requires strong communication skills, ability to work effectively across various teams and provide great outcomes for customers and internal stakeholders.

The successful candidate will be responsible for meeting business objectives across a range of Key Performance Indicators as set by their Line Manager.

  • Remediate critical KYC data and provide support to other teams and stakeholders.
  • Undertake completion of KYC Refresh, remediation and OCDD for CBA customers with the review of valid identification documentation to enable the uplift of customer profiles to the AML/CTF standards.
  • Liaise with frontline staff to ensure KYC information is updated when the customer has provided identification documentation in branch.
  • Identifying and assessing the risks which could prevent you from achieving the objectives of your role.
  • Ensuring timely and effective resolution and response of customer complaints in a professional manner.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

The ideal candidate will possess a risk mindset, excellent internal and external customer service skills, attention to detail and accuracy, and ability to work independently and be self-motivated.

They will also have experience in fast-paced environments, sound understanding of the AML/CTF legislation and standards, and ability to analyse trends and identify critical threats and opportunities.
