Senior Data Specialist, Data Quality, Remediation & Management

Location: 1 Reserve Road, St Leonards, Sydney. Employment Type: Full Time, Permanent. Position Classification: Health Manager Level 3. Remuneration: $127,150.00 - $144,444.00 per annum, plus superannuation and 17.5% leave loading. Hours per week: 38. Requisition ID: REQ603191.

Responsibilities
  • Develop and maintain Information System initiatives with key stakeholders in the Screening and Prevention division, and with Institute Data Warehouse staff.
  • Utilise data engineering, data remediation, data modelling and data analytics skills to support Cancer Plan objectives.
  • Collaborate to improve data quality, governance and data management across health information systems.
Essential Qualifications
  • Tertiary qualifications in health information management, business, computer science, information technology or related discipline, or demonstrated equivalent experience in data management.
  • Expert in SQL Server and Microsoft SSIS with experience in database development and administration.
  • Understanding of data management and governance principles as they relate to health records.
  • Experience with statistical data analysis and reporting on large datasets for performance monitoring and improvement.
