About the Yugen Experience:

We are seeking an experienced and inspirational culinary leader to drive our team and operations to unparalleled success in a vibrant, fast-paced environment.

The ideal candidate will possess 3-4 years of experience in sushi and sashimi, with exceptional communication, delegation, and leadership skills. They will be able to work well within a collaborative team, take direction, and demonstrate a deep understanding of Food Safety & Hygiene Practices.

  • Creativity around innovative menu development and presentation
  • A naturally positive attitude
  • High standards and expectations within the kitchen

Key Responsibilities:

Drive team performance and operations to meet business objectives

Develop and implement effective strategies for menu innovation and food presentation

Lead by example, demonstrating strong leadership skills and a commitment to food safety and quality

Requirements:

3-4 years of experience in sushi and sashimi preparation

Excellent communication, delegation, and leadership skills

Ability to work collaboratively within a team

Deep understanding of Food Safety & Hygiene Practices
