We are seeking a Senior Financial Systems Specialist to join our team at ANZ.

About the Role:

As a key member of our Regulatory and Risk Technology team, you will be responsible for maintaining systems and services that support regulatory reporting and risk applications.

You will work closely with trade flow support, regulatory reporting refit teams, and other technology teams to define technical requirements.

Your day-to-day tasks will include collaborating with developers to elicit requirements and engage in solution design, supporting teams for resolving complex problems in production, and working with internal teams to define interfaces and test integrated solutions.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Work with cross-functional teams to define technical requirements for regulatory reporting and risk applications.
  • Collaborate with developers to design and implement system solutions.
  • Provide support for resolving complex problems in production environments.

What You'll Bring:

To succeed in this role, you will have:

  • A minimum of 2 years of experience as a technology business analyst in a financial institution.
  • Knowledge of capital markets financial products within the context of a technology role.
  • Intermediate SQL skills.
  • Demonstrated knowledge in writing system requirements and working in an Agile delivery team.
  • Experience with tools such as JIRA, Confluence, and project management tools.

  • A self-starter who enjoys a challenge and working in an agile environment.
  • Someone who takes pride in their work and can complete tasks in a timely manner with minimal supervision.
  • Someone who can effectively interface with both technical and business teams.
  • Good communication skills and ability to work effectively with colleagues located onshore and offshore.
