Home Care Worker Job Description

As a Home Care Worker, you will provide essential support services to elderly clients in their own homes. This role offers the opportunity to make a real difference in people's lives while working in a close-knit team environment.

  • Assist with daily living tasks such as general housekeeping, laundry, meal preparation, and grocery shopping.
  • Provide social support and transportation to lifestyle activities, helping family carers have a break or time for other pursuits.
  • Maintain a safe and caring environment, supporting clients to live independently at home for longer.
Key Responsibilities:
  • Essential Tasks: Assist with daily living tasks, including general housekeeping, laundry, meal preparation, and grocery shopping.
  • Support Services: Provide social support and transportation to lifestyle activities, giving family carers a much-needed break.
  • Safe Environment: Maintain a safe and caring environment, supporting clients to live independently at home for longer.
