High-Precision Measurement Specialist

The role of the High-Precision Measurement Specialist is to perform high-precision measurements on turbine-generator components and related equipment.

Responsibilities include:

  • Actively participating in the planning phase to address potential risks and ensure a smooth installation process.
  • Preparing measurement and inspection reports, as well as coordinating inspections with site management team members.
  • Programming laser trackers for accurate and reliable data collection.
  • Conducting measurements according to Inspection & Test Plans (ITPs).
  • Collecting and analyzing data obtained during measurements, identifying deviations and providing recommendations for corrective actions.

Required skills and qualifications:

  • Diploma in Engineering Technology (Geomatic, Mechanical, Electrical) or equivalent industry experience.
  • Previous demonstrated experience in operating laser tracker equipment in the construction industry or similar industries.
  • Ability to read technical drawings and specifications.
  • Keen attention to detail and commitment to delivering accurate and precise measurements.
  • Collaborative team player with excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
