Job Title: Infrastructure Mechanical Inspector


We are seeking an experienced Infrastructure Mechanical Inspector to join a global leader in the infrastructure sector for a major technical project. As part of this role, you will conduct thorough inspections of mechanical components and ensure they meet quality standards and specifications.

  • Conduct mechanical inspections and tests to ensure quality standards and specifications are met.
  • Identify and document mechanical defects, non-conformities, or discrepancies, and determine their impact on quality.
  • Maintain accurate records of mechanical inspections, test results, and quality-related documentation.
  • Collaborate with production teams or suppliers to address and resolve mechanical quality issues, recommending corrective actions.
  • Ensure that mechanical components comply with relevant industry codes, standards, and specifications.
  • Communicate mechanical quality findings and issues to supervisors and relevant stakeholders.
  • Adhere to safety protocols and practices while conducting inspections and tests.

Requirements:

• Tertiary qualifications or related discipline such as diploma in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent.
• White Card
• Minimum of 2 years of experience in mechanical quality control or a related role.
• Proven track record of conducting mechanical inspections and tests.
• Experience working on large scale construction projects or other suitable projects works.
• Good understanding of Quality Specification (Q6) and ISO AS/NZS 9001 requirements.
• Sound knowledge of construction materials and related specifications.
• Experience in Microsoft office suite and any EMDS.
