Electro Mechanical Service Technician

As a critical part of our service team, you will play a pivotal role in delivering exceptional support to the healthcare sector. Your expertise in electro mechanical service and repair work, particularly with medical imaging products, will be instrumental in ensuring the seamless operation of our equipment.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Conduct installations of x-ray systems and other devices according to customer requirements and specifications.
  • Analytically diagnose and perform repairs on equipment, ensuring relevant updates and patches are applied as needed.
  • Perform remote diagnostic procedures at customer sites.
  • Perform preventative maintenance as scheduled and in accordance with policies.
  • Travel throughout the region and interstate to carry out duties.
  • Take ownership of service situations from inception to resolution, initiating escalation procedures as required.
  • Document service calls, expenses, and time reports daily and submit to the service desk on a weekly basis.
  • Participate in after-hours support and participate on the 24/7 roster when required to support product solutions.

Requirements:

  • Hold or be eligible for any required electrical and/or radiation licenses.
  • Hold a tertiary qualification in Electrical, Engineering, or similar technical qualifications.
  • Proven experience in electro mechanical service and repair work, ideally with medical imaging products.
  • Basic IT knowledge of Windows operating systems, PC repairs, and installations, databases, networking, storage, etc.
  • Familiarity with DICOM and HL7 standards.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a strong customer focus.
  • Valid driver's license.
