
Claims Support Specialist

Job Summary:
We are seeking a Technical Specialist to support our team in the management of claims related to Victorian workers compensation law and WorkSafe Victoria guidelines.
Main Responsibilities:
- Provide technical assistance to claims teams regarding claims management processes
- Conduct ongoing reviews of Medical & Like entitlements according to the Act and WorkSafe guidelines
- Evaluate decisions based on quality decision-making guidelines
- In collaboration with the Team Leader, develop strategies to enhance key performance measures
- Continuously improve claims management practices through feedback and trend identification
- Maintain strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders
- Ensure organizational compliance with regulatory requirements
Requirements:
- Strong understanding of claims management within the Victorian workers compensation scheme
- Minimum 3 years' experience in case management or a related field is preferred
- Experience in managing relationships and stakeholder expectations
- Excellent problem-solving and strategic thinking skills
- Coaching and supporting others in their professional development
