Job role - Operate and maintain digital and large-format printing equipment to produce high-quality prints efficiently, supporting production targets and deadlines. Ensure compliance with safety, quality, and operational standards while assisting with finishing tasks as required. This is an hourly paid role under the EBA; applicants must have full working rights in Australia, be able to commute to Derrimut. Note: we are unable to provide Visa sponsorship for this role.

Responsibilities
  • Operate digital and/or large-format printing machines (e.g., HP Indigo, Kornit, Epson, etc.)
  • Set up and calibrate printers based on job specifications and order requirements and ensure quick changeovers
  • Monitor print quality and perform routine maintenance to avoid downtime
  • Work closely with the production team to meet daily output targets and deadlines
  • Troubleshoot minor technical issues and escalate major ones when necessary
  • Maintain accurate records of job runs, materials, and machine usage
  • Support finishing tasks as needed (e.g., trimming, guillotining, padding, binding, die cutting, folding, laminating, UV coating, packing, scoring and perforation)
  • Follow safety and quality assurance protocols at all times
Experience / Training
  • Finishing experience
  • Trouble shooting – capable of performing routine maintenance tasks
  • Knowledge of Lean principals
  • Manufacturing industry experience
  • Printing industry experience
